These two are such a breeze to photograph, look at how gorgeous she is! When Tyler contacted me to photograph her and Connor's big day I was super excited. Tyler was a few years behind me in high school so getting the opportunity to photograph someone you grew up knowing is always fun! Tyler and Connor are each others best friends, they are totally in sync with one another. When we started planning the engagement session they were having a hard time deciding on whether to do a summer or winter session. We did both and I am so glad we did! Each session was totally different from the other and I love that they have the variety to capture two season they adore. I hope you guys enjoy these as much as I do! Can't wait for their big day!

I love a good clean black and white portrait, especially when it's of these two dudes. Last week my mom was hugging Oliver and I looked over at him spilling out of her arms. It's like he grew overnight into a little boy leaving his, "baby" days behind. Last year for Keegan's birthday I did his birthday portraits in black and white and I absolutely loved them. I am definitely making this a continuing tradition. Oliver is my, "sour patch kid," as I like to describe him some days. He's your typically two year old so when he was all excited for these pictures I jumped at the opportunity! I love these so much and I can't wait to see your little's in the studio for their own session!

The moment I met Rachel in person I knew we were going to get along. As she sat across from me gushing over Justin and their adorable love story I knew it was going to be a beautiful wedding. These two are MIDDLE SCHOOL sweethearts! How amazing is that?! These two have been there for each other through the awkward middle school years that we all go through, through High School and college! They have lived miles away from each other at times and still made it through. Parts of their day had me in tears, especially the ceremony. Watching the families tear up while they confessed their love was a tear jerker. Rachel's day gave a speech at the reception that left myself and second shooter, Sara, tears. The love both families have each other is truly amazing. Rachel & Justin were a wonderful couple to hang out with and I am so excited to show you their special day! Enjoy!
This little stud was the cutest, "Dog of Honor!"
"Rachel was always there for me from the start, cheering me on at middle school basketball games all the way through high school. She was my biggest supporter and always put a smile on my face whether we were victorious or suffered a loss....While spending nearly three months in Australia the thing I thought about the most was wanting to experience the incredible journey with Rachel by my side. After that trip, I knew Rachel was the one for me and I wanted to experience those moments in life with my best friend by my side."
" I knew Justin was, "the one," probably from the second he asked me to be his girlfriend in 7th grade. I knew even then what kind of guy he was and what made him so different. He was the kindest, most generous and the best looking guy around. He was always involved in school and took time to help others and that attitude carried on into his adult life. he continuously works hard at work and projects and that kind of work ethic makes me fall more in love with him. He loves my family as his own, even the family dog. Never did I ever believe I deserved a love like his in my lifetime, but he so effortlessly loves me unselfishly every single day. Good days and bad days are always better knowing I get to come home to this man for the rest of my life. In our adult life I realized he was, "the one," was in college when we decided to take a 6 week no visit break (not break up) due to being 70 miles apart at our new colleges. We both found so much happiness in each other visiting and meeting each others new friends. After that I knew Justin was my greatest happiness and greatest love. Never looked back for a second. "
It was so great working with all the amazing vendors! Thanks for making our day smooth!

I had such a great time photographing this gorgeous girl. Nevaria heard about me through one of her friends and I am so glad she did because she was a dream to photograph. We hit up the ever so popular downtown Rockford for her session and we had the best evening for her session! I hope you enjoy her session as much as I do!
Baby bumps are so cute, especially this one! This adorable family is expecting another little man and I am so excited to meet him soon! We had the most perfect light and warm evening for their session. I hope you enjoy their session as much as I do!
Goodness gracious. Where do I begin with this bombshell?! I have known Josie for quite some time through her sister, Becca, who I love working with just as much! I was so excited that Josie wanted a trendy urban senior session downtown Rockford. It matches her personality so well! When Josie sat down for her first few poses I was floored, she was knocking these poses out of the park. We had such a perfect afternoon and I am thrilled to share these stunning images with you. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do because I could post her whole session! Take a scroll and show Josie some love!
I enjoy photographing seniors so much! Allyson was so much fun to work with and she was such a natural posing! We went downtown Rockford for her urban vibes and I love how her session came out! A few years ago I got to photograph her cousins session too! Family referrals are the best! I hope you enjoy her sneaks as much as I do!
Meet the Fuller family! They were such troopers as we knocked out so many poses in a warm afternoon a few weeks ago! The littles were absolutely wonderful and the session went so smooth with so many individuals! I enjoy photographing large family portraits so much. There is a bit of chaos, lots of snuggles from the cousins accompanied by giggles. We got so many amazing shots of these guys and I can't wait to share more with you! I hope you enjoy this sneak for now because I sure am loving this session a bunch!
Lindsey and Tyler, where do I begin to describe their adorable intimate wedding?! Upon arriving to the ceremony site I instantly smiled seeing it all set up. I knew it was exactly what the two of them had envisioned. Seeing their day unfold was such a precious moment. From the aisle being decorated with logs and mason jars filled with yellow daisy's I knew that their day was going to be filled with so many special moments. Lindsey and Tyler wanted to keep things very simple and intimate as neither wanted to make a big fuss. They really wanted to show case their love for one another and their love for nature. They celebrated back at Tyler's parents which sits on a stunning lake with their closest friends and family. They really outdid themselves in creating a warm love filled day!
These two kind souls met at a bonfire five years ago where they both attended with their friends. From there on their affection grew into something quite wonderful! Tyler and Lindsey were out in Colorado when he proposed surrounded by mountains and evergreens. A truly romantic moment!
So, take a scroll through and I hope you enjoy their day as I much as I did!
" I knew early on he was everything I had ever wanted and our relationship was so natural. He makes me a better version of myself. " - Lindsey
Johns senior session was on such a gorgeous day! We stayed local and hit up some of Byron's nature spots to compliment him! John wasn't too sure about senior pictures but this guy, let me tell you, was a natural! I always love seeing seniors relax in front of the camera after they weren't so excited to be having them done. Thank you, John, for trusting me to capture your senior pictures! I am so fortunate to photograph so many handsome seniors like John! Give John's session a look and show him some love!
Bryce did a phenomenal job for his senior session last week! The weather was a bit on and off with the clouds and some major gloom but we had some great backdrops! Our backdrop for his session was a private property that he has worked at through the summers and where his parents got married! Like most high school guys they hate having their picture taken but Bryce went along and laughed through it all! I am absolutely digging his session, especially those moody ones! I hope you enjoy his senior session as much as I did, I mean he's total model material!
Penny and Collin contacted me a few months ago looking for someone to capture their backyard wedding and I was so honored! I walked into the most gorgeous backyard oasis and you never would have known you were in the heart of Rockford! Collin and Penny only needed me for a few hours and the few hours I spent with them and their loved were so heartwarming. Penny and Collin have a really genuine love that absolutely made me melt the moment I saw them together. They both had jitters and were so excited to see one another and get the party started! They said their vows under the most gorgeous arbor done by the ever so talented Event Floral. I hope you enjoy their intimate wedding as much as I did! Congratulations Collin & Penny!
Heather and Tyler said, "I do," two weeks ago at Storybook Gardens on the most perfect Friday evening. The weather was perfect, a little crisp but gorgeous for their nuptials! Tyler and Heather's story on how they met is super cute...Heather was at the 5th Alarm in Byron eating dinner by herself, not something she normally does, and he was there. He sat down and talked with her through her entire dinner and took care of the bill for her! A few weeks after texting they went on their first date and the rest is history.
The proposal story...adorable. They went on a weekend trip to the U.P. to go see waterfalls together and he proposed at their favorite waterfall. How adorable are they?!
Tyler knew Heather was the one when they were on a walk at Lowden State Park during a snow storm. She was hopping in the snow going, "poof! poof!" and he knew she was his bride.
Tiffany and Shane recently go engaged and about a month after he proposed this girl was on the ball of planning! Soon as I met with her to go over wedding details I knew we were going to have some fun in this process! We went to Silver Ridge Golf Course in Oregon where the two met to capture the gorgeous landscape and their love where it all began. Shane is a golf instructor at the course currently so soon has lessons were over we got to work with their session! They included their ADORABLE dog, Rory, in their images and I am over the moon. Rory did a fabulous job and I am so excited to share this sneak with you guys! I hope you enjoy them!
Molly and Jenner had so much giggly energy throughout their entire session! They got out of their car giddy and holding hands as they met me at our starting spot at the Forest Preserve. It's no secret the love they have for one another! A few of the posing prompts definitely made these two feel silly but they went along with my ideas and I am incredibly happy with how their session turned out! I hope you smile as much as I smile looking at through their love. Enjoy!
This year marked the third year of doing Back to School minis and I am so glad I had request for it! I love watching kids grow up, especially my guys here. Keegan entered Kindergarten and he is super pumped about it. He loves his teacher and meeting new friends. He enjoys the variety of of activities that he gets to do and learn. Then we have Oliver, who is home with me still, so I guess we can say he's my sidekick right now! He enjoys the one on one time with me and as I love spending it with him! I hope you enjoy these images as much as I do!
These two are a hoot. We had about 20 minutes together before the rain came to capture their mini session while I was visiting Florida a few weeks ago. We photographed right on Natalie's parents property! What a gorgeous area is too! I had the chance to meet Natalie's husband Erik at Christmas when they came up to visit family at the holidays, I knew when I traveled down there I had to photograph them! These two have known each other for quite some time due to their kids becoming friends through school. After some time they hit it off and the rest is history! So glad I was able to spend sometime with these two! Enjoy!
I have known most of the Wiley family since I was about 7 years old! Getting the chance to photograph this funny and sweet family was so much fun! When you get to photograph a family that you have known for years it means so much. You've watch the families grow and evolve over time. I hope you enjoy this outstanding good looking family as much I enjoyed them!
Miss Morgan you are such a natural beauty! Goodness gracious girl! Morgan rocked her downtown senior session. We were so fortunate to have a perfect summer night! Morgan is a very quiet shy young lady but she opened up and was game to try any ideas I had! We went to a few new little nooks downtown to capture her nature/urban vibe that her and her mom were wanting! Morgan brought along her super cute dog, Oliver, her dad and adorable little sister! We all had such a great time at her shoot! I am so thrilled with how these turned out and I hope you love them as much as I do! Enjoy!
Mirlinda and Frank were a dream to photograph! Mirlinda and I went to high school together and played soccer together so when she asked me to take her engagements I was absolutely thrilled! Then she told me where she wanted them and I couldn't have been more excited! I adore Chicago so much and being able to photograph two gorgeous people just made me that much more thrilled! Mirlinda wanted the nitty-gritty part of Chicago along with the soft nature architectural scene! She got just that! Her fiance, Frank, was so wonderful and funny throughout our evening together, by the end of our session he told me he had a great time! Goal accomplished! I really enjoyed working with these two and capturing their love for one another! I hope you enjoy their snaps as much as I do!
This girl right here has grown into such a gorgeous young lady. I have known Allie since before she was born! Having common family members I have gotten to know her at family birthday parties over the years! When Allie messaged me to book her senior session I was ecstatic to capture her beautiful self! We hit downtown Rockford for her session and I am absolutely in love with how it turned out! Our first spot we got eaten alive at but she rocked it, obviously, I mean look at her?! So, show this girl some love and take a scroll through her snaps!
Where to even begin with these two love birds?! These two met early this year and quickly fell in love! Soon as they met, they knew they found their, "one!" How adorable is that?! I met James & Shelia a few months ago as we say down together and gushed over their fast approaching big day! James & Shelia were such a fun couple to photograph! We ventured through Oregon and Byron and I absolutely love their session! Their candid water poses are some of my personal favs! Show these two some love and take a look at their session!
Mason is Two and ready to party! I've been photographing this little guy since he was 6 months old and my has he grown! I love watching your little ones grow and seeing their personalities shine through. Mason was giggly and a sweetheart through his whole session even if it was a bit toasty out! Give Mason some love and wish this guy a Happy Birthday!
World, meet Brooks. This little man was such a joy and breeze to have in the studio! The moment him and his parents walked into the studio I knew he was going do outstanding! I went to high school with Brooks's dad and had the pleasure of meeting his mom when I did their engagement pictures! Photographing a past classmate is always such an honor! Mom and dad are two of the sweetest and kindest people I have worked with! I am so excited to share with you Brooks newborn session! Enjoy!
A few weeks ago the "S" family contacted me to do their first professional family portrait session! What an honor it was to capture their first family portraits! These four were so much fun to work with and they did great even with the mosquitoes eating us all alive. I just about melted when big brother A told me he though I was fun, what a ham! We did a sunrise session at 5 Acre Farm and again, I love how their session turned out! Show the S family some love and enjoy!
