Two years ago Tim and Nicholas tossed out the idea of getting married in tropical paradise where they have traveled many times together over the years. I first met Tim & Nicholas when they asked me to photograph their families Christmas cookie exchange a few years ago and I knew then and there that these were perfect. We later set up a time for a few engagement pictures and that short time frame made me even more excited for the big day. The date was set and the countdown began. The months went on and during that time Tim and Nicholas teased us all with photos of them on the beach and music that would carry their beach reception. Finally, one year later we all jumped on a plane super early in the morning and the festivities began! Once we reached our resort, RIU Palace Riviera Maya, where the wedding would be held, we all stood in the front entrance in awe of how beautiful everything was.
On the morning of Tim and Nicholas's wedding we woke up to a warm breeze, swaying palm leaves, blue skies and the smell of coconut in the air. We met in the immaculate lobby where they tied the most gorgeous corsages on their moms wrists and fastened their boutonnieres. I loved their boutonnieres so much, they were Bird's of Paradise wrapped in a white ribbon! How awesome is that?! I loved all the tropical touches they had, such a refreshing new look! I could go on for hours on how amazing their day was because it was truly an amazing day. I hope you enjoy their wedding memories as much as I do! Congratulations you guys!
"For all the things my hands have held the best by far is you!"
